Update on Godot Migration
How about a quick update for Halloween?
I had to take a lengthy hiatus from the project this year, but it is back on track and going well. The migration from Unity to Godot is not finished yet, but I am happy to report that most of the existing content and features have been ported over. Things are going much more smoothly now than when I first started this migration, as I have put together a fairly clean workflow with Godot and gotten the code into a state that is agreeable to it. The biggest pieces left to convert are the third dungeon (four maps and their associated content), the control binding and options menus, and most of the player skill set.
You may have heard that Unity recently canceled their runtime fee. This does not change my decision to continue the project in Godot.
I will probably not be posting many major devlogs from now on, but I do post more frequent small updates and running commentary on Mastodon and in this forum thread.

Awesome that you're working through the engine change, it sounds like a big learning experience and hopefully you'll be happy with the results 😺
Thanks, not everything is perfect, but so far I have been fairly pleased with the results.
